What Changed in 2026? One Year of Regulation and Development in denxpert
Regulatory changes, new features and AI in one hour: what does 2026 mean for your daily work?
- Regulatory review: from waste and chemicals to ISO 14001:2026 and the revised ESRS, the year's developments in a single pass.
- New in denxpert: the rebuilt data entry screens in BASE and WASTE, plus updates across the Legal, Chemical and Data modules.
- AI in practice: how the built-in AI help chat works, where your data sits, and what's coming next.
- ESG and CSRD: what changed on the supplier side and in reporting, including how ESRS versions are handled.
- Content by organisational unit: different legal content and permissions per unit, with amendments visible where you read them.
- One platform, several modules: functions that sit outside your daily routine but may still be worth knowing about.

How much of this year's regulatory change has actually reached your system?
The rules changed. What changed in denxpert?

Consultants publish legal analysis. Software vendors publish feature lists. Neither tells you which field or setting you need to touch once a rule actually moves.
That's our routine: we monitor the regulatory and standards environment continuously, and our development follows it. In 2026 that meant five regulatory areas and five major releases.
This session covers the full year, module by module. Which area still has open work at your company?
Waste. Inconsistencies between records are what an inspection finds first, and the EU packaging rules that started applying in August mean waste data has to hold up in more places than before. That's why we show the rebuilt Generation screen in BASE and WASTE live, not on slides.
Chemicals. The revised CLP rules have applied since 1 July 2026, and a reclassification has to reach your inventory, your labels and your safety data sheets. In the Chemical module, trial approvals can now run for up to 360 days, with expiry counted from the date of approval. Who tracks when each approval runs out at your company?
Legal compliance. Different content and permissions for each part of the organisation. Users see only what belongs to their area, and amendments are visible where you read them: red strikethrough for deleted text, blue for new.
ESG and CSRD. The revised ESRS were published in the Official Journal on 21 September and enter into force on 10 November, applying from financial year 2027. The CSRD module now carries ESRS 2.0, and the version is chosen when the project is created, alongside the updates to supplier assessment and data collection.
denxpert AI. Our own AI runs in a closed environment, built on more than 20 years of EHS knowledge, so your data stays inside the system. The built-in AI help chat answers questions about the whole platform straight away.
One platform, several modules. Most users work inside one or two menu items while the rest of the system runs on the same data. Which of those functions could save your team work?
What you'll take away
The session is built for people who already work with EHS or ESG data and want a clear picture of what moved in 2026 and what's worth adopting.
You'll gain practical insights into:
- the EHS and ESG regulatory changes that shaped 2026, and what they ask of your records;
- the new and redeveloped functions across the platform;
- the rebuilt data handling processes, shown on real examples;
- how legal content and permissions can follow your organisational structure;
- what changed in supplier assessment and CSRD reporting, including ESRS version handling;
- what denxpert AI does today and where the development is heading;
- modules and functions that could support processes beyond your current use.
