How to Start Preparing This Q4

Following the European Commission's adoption of the revised ESRS on 3 July 2026, companies across all reporting waves face a compressed window to determine scope, assess information materiality, and mobilize data collection for financial year 2026. Join sustainability expert Anna Csonka for a tactical session on where the regulation stands today, how to make the most of official EFRAG materials, and what belongs on every reporting team's Q4 execution list, from materiality assessment to system and process readiness.
Wichtige Erkenntnisse
  • The Post-Adoption Reality: Exactly where the revised ESRS stand legally, what scrutiny periods remain, and what must happen before they take full effect.
  • What Set 2 Means for Seasoned Reporters: The key changes in ESRS Set 2 and what they mean strategically for reporting teams already running mature ESRS Set 1 processes — what to adopt early, what to watch, and what to leave alone for now.
  • Inside the Draft EFRAG Datapoint List: A close look at the freshly published draft list of datapoints — what changed, what dropped out, and how to use it deliberately to produce reports that are compliant and actually readable.
  • The First-Timer's Execution Blueprint: A chronological sequence covering double materiality, cross-functional data ownership, gap analysis, and system architecture.
  • Live Software Walkthrough: A targeted demonstration of denxpert's latest CSRD software modules designed to automate audit-ready data capture.

Navigating the Revised ESRS and Building Your Q4 Action Plan

Most CSRD content currently on the market falls into two extremes: dense legal commentary written exclusively for external advisors, or high-level overviews that offer zero tactical help for building an internal action plan.

This session bridges that gap. We deliver the regulatory precision you need to stay compliant, structured entirely around the operational decisions your team must make over the next 90 days.

While the reduction in mandatory datapoints under the revised standards is a welcome relief, a leaner framework does not automatically shorten the time required to establish data ownership across a corporate group, align definitions with finance, or generate evidence that a limited assurance provider will sign off on. That foundational work is precisely why preparation must begin in October.

Who it's for

  • Sustainability & ESG Managers preparing a first CSRD disclosure for FY2027.
  • CSRD Project Leads & Reporting Coordinators tasked with cross-departmental execution.
  • Group Sustainability Reporting Managers at multinational organizations managing EU subsidiaries or branches.

When does my first report cover FY2027?

Companies entering scope under this wave report on financial year 2027, with formal publication occurring in 2028. The revised ESRS apply to financial years beginning on or after 1 January 2027.

Will the recording be available if I cannot attend live?

Yes. All registrants receive full access to the recording, slide deck, and supplemental resource materials shortly after the session concludes, regardless of live attendance.
