Connecting Industry Experts to Discuss the Future of Environmental Compliance

On 20 October 2026, denxpert hosted its Industrial Environmental Protection 2027 conference, bringing together representatives of Hungarian industry, regulatory authorities and professional organisations to discuss environmental protection, EHS compliance and the challenges businesses face when preparing for 2027.

Environmental and occupational health and safety requirements are an important part of doing business across industries and markets. However, understanding regulatory obligations is only one part of the challenge. Organisations also need to translate requirements into practical processes, establish clear responsibilities and integrate compliance into their everyday operations.

Achieving this requires more than regulatory expertise. It also depends on knowledge sharing, practical experience and cooperation between the different stakeholders involved.

These were the central themes of denxpert's Industrial Environmental Protection 2027 conference, which provided a platform for professional discussion and the exchange of perspectives across Hungarian industry.

Bringing Hungarian Industry Together to Address Environmental and EHS Challenges

An overview of recent EHS regulatory changes and their practical implications for businesses.

The conference brought together professionals from businesses, regulatory authorities and industry organisations to explore the environmental and EHS challenges facing Hungarian companies as they prepare for 2027.

The programme covered several perspectives, from regulatory developments and industry outlooks to practical EHS management and the experiences of businesses working with environmental and occupational safety requirements.

The event opened with Zsuzsanna Ágnes Kertész-Káldosi, State Secretary responsible for Environmental Protection and Circular Economy, who presented the regulatory direction of the National Authority for Environmental Supervision and discussed current environmental protection priorities in Hungary.

This was followed by Róbert Szücs-Winkler, CEO of denxpert, who shared an industry outlook and discussed the challenges and considerations shaping businesses' preparations for 2027.

The denxpert team also contributed practical insights to the programme:

  • Anita Békés, Senior EHS Expert, presented the latest monthly EHS regulatory developments and their relevance to businesses.
  • Lea Mészáros-Győrfi, Head of Customer Success, shared five insights into EHS management based on the experiences of hundreds of platform users.

Together, these presentations connected regulatory developments with the practical realities of managing environmental and workplace safety responsibilities within organisations.

From Regulation to Practice: How Are Hungarian Companies Preparing for 2027?

Roundtable discussion on how Hungarian companies can prepare for 2027 environmental and EHS requirements
Industry and business experts discussed how to translate regulatory requirements into everyday practice.

A central part of the conference was the roundtable discussion, "From Regulation to Daily Practice: How Is a Hungarian Company Preparing for 2027?"

The discussion brought together representatives from different areas of Hungarian industry, each offering a distinct professional and organisational perspective:

  • Dr Csaba Ágoston, President of the Hungarian Association of Environmental Enterprises (KSZGYSZ)
  • Dr András Torma, Environmental and Energy Management Specialist at AUDI HUNGARIA Zrt.
  • Eszter Mészáros, EHS Manager at VINCOTECH HUNGARIA Kft.
  • Csaba Opor, Occupational and Fire Safety Manager at ANY Security Printing Company

The discussion focused on how businesses can translate regulatory requirements into practical measures and incorporate them into their daily operations.

By bringing together representatives from manufacturing, professional associations and corporate EHS management, the roundtable offered an opportunity to look at shared challenges from different perspectives.

The conversation also highlighted an important principle: environmental protection and workplace safety are not responsibilities that individual companies can address entirely on their own. Effective implementation requires communication and cooperation between businesses, industry organisations and regulatory authorities.

While the discussion focused on the Hungarian business environment, these questions are relevant to organisations operating across different markets: how can regulatory expectations be translated into effective action, and how can industry stakeholders learn from one another?

Why denxpert Organises Industry Events

Industry professionals from across Hungary attended the event.

At denxpert, we believe that supporting organisations with EHS and sustainability compliance goes beyond providing software.

Digital tools can help businesses structure their compliance processes, manage responsibilities and maintain oversight. But access to relevant expertise, up-to-date regulatory information and opportunities to exchange practical experience are equally important.

This is why denxpert organised the Industrial Environmental Protection 2027 conference: to create a space where professionals could discuss common challenges, share knowledge and strengthen connections across Hungarian industry.

We see value in bringing together people who approach environmental protection and workplace safety from different professional perspectives. These conversations can help build a better understanding of regulatory expectations and the practical considerations involved in meeting them.

The October conference is part of this broader commitment. denxpert plans to organise further professional events to encourage ongoing dialogue and cooperation among Hungarian industry stakeholders.

Our aim is to support collective progress towards safer workplaces and more responsible industrial operations, while creating opportunities for professionals to learn from one another.

Because progress in environmental protection and occupational safety is a shared responsibility. And meaningful change starts with collaboration.
